Panel 2018

After starting out on the stage as an actor and writer, Pascal Elbé became co-writer and actor in Michel Boujenah’s debut film Père et fils, alongside Philippe Noiret and Charles Berling, which earned him a nomination for The César Award for Most Promising Actor.

Without abandoning his career in theatre, Pascal Elbé began appearing increasingly in films: Les Mauvais Joueurs by Frédéric Balekdjian, Mauvaise Foi (2006) by Roshdy Zem, Cotex by Nicolas Boukrief, Le Dernier Gang (2007) by Ariel Zeïtoun, Mes Amis Mes Amours (2008) by Lorraine Lévy, Comme les autres (2010) by Vincent Garenc.

In 2010, Pascal Elbé released his first film as a director, Tête de Turc, which earned him a nomination for The César Award for Best First Feature Film. He worked with Lorraine Lévy again in Le fils de l’autre (2012) alongside Emmanuelle Devos, and with Michel Boujenah in his latest feature-length film Le Coeur en braille (2016).

Pascal Elbé is on the film poster for Knock (released on 18th October 2017) alongside Omar Sy. From 17th January 2018, we will be able to see him in the new film by Michèle Laroque, Brillantissime, with Françoise Fabian, Kad Merad and Rossy de Palma. He also appeared in L’Araignée Rouge, a closed set directed by Franck Florino. In this interactive film, the viewer will be invited to choose the culprit through a mobile app.
